Cy-Moh sat both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the 2025 Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) Makerere Mature Age Entry examination, in which he emerged the overall best candidate in the Aptitude exam (Paper 1) and overall best candidate for MBChB[click here to see 2026/2027 MAK government sponsorship admission list]. He navigated the full preparation, application process and built this dashboard around the preparation strategies that actually work, not just the ones that fill a curriculum.
Every section reflects what a serious candidate actually needs: paper 1 with structured passages with increasing difficulty, formula vaults with practice built in, timed drills that mirror the real exam, and essay frameworks with scored examples. Paper 2 with content prepared around all the questions in the past papers. This is the resource Cy-Moh wished had existed for him at the start.
Sections 1–6 cover Paper 1, which every mature age candidate sits regardless of course. Section 7 covers Paper 2 for MBChB applicants. More courses coming soon.
Over 1000 advanced English passages with 5–6 MCQ questions each. Passage questions increase in difficulty from literal recall to inference and critical analysis.

WHY THIS PLATFORM WORKS
The Makerere mature age entry exam tests how you apply the knowledge you have gained to solve new problems. Paper 1 includes language, numbers, logic and general knowledge under time pressure with unfamiliar content. So every section in this dashboard ends with scored practice — multiple-choice questions with instant feedback and explanations that teach you why each wrong option is wrong, not just what the right answer is. Paper 2 includes content organized around past papers and how to use it to approach uncharted territory. By exam day, you will have practised the patterns, not just read the pages.
EXAM INFO
The Mature Age Entry Scheme is an admission pathway at Makerere University for adults who are academically capable of university study but may not hold the direct entry requirements. Eligible candidates sit and must pass the Mature Age Entry Examination to qualify for admission into Makerere University programmes.
You must be at least 25 years old before 1st August of the year in which you are seeking admission. The scheme is open to both Ugandan and international applicants. However, anyone who qualifies for admission through another entry scheme, or who previously failed to qualify in a programme at Makerere, is not eligible through mature age.
Every candidate sits two examinations on the same day: Paper 1 (the Aptitude Examination), which is compulsory for all applicants regardless of course, and Paper 2 (the Programme Specific Examination), which is either Arts/Humanities-based or Science-based depending on the programme you are applying for. You must score 50% or above in each paper.
You need at least 50% in both papers. If you score below 50% in Paper 1, you are deemed to have failed and your Paper 2 is not even marked. Only candidates who pass Paper 1 have their Paper 2 marked. Passing both papers is required to be considered for admission.
Both papers are sat on the same day. The Aptitude Examination (Paper 1) runs in the morning from 9:00am to 12:00noon, and the Programme Specific Examination (Paper 2) runs in the afternoon from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, as stated in the University's advert.
No. Passing both papers does not mean automatic admission. Results are submitted to the Makerere University Admissions Committee, and admission depends on the number of available slots for your chosen programme and how you performed relative to other candidates. Higher scorers are considered first, in order of performance, until the available slots are filled.
Yes. If you are not satisfied with your released results, you may appeal to the Academic Registrar and request a remark, accompanied by the required remark fee. Appeals must be made within two weeks of results being published. Note that you cannot request a remark of Paper 1 after the composite (combined) results are released.
This platform structures your preparation around the actual exam, not just the subject matter. Paper 1 covers reading comprehension, language skills, numerical skills, general knowledge and analytical essay writing, with scored practice and past papers. Paper 2 prep is available for MBChB applicants, built around the questions that actually appear. Choose a plan, pay via MTN or Airtel Money, and access activates instantly.
